Sri Vijaya Puram, Jan. 7:The Fisheries Training Centre, Marine Hill, Department of Fisheries in association with the Financial Assistance of National Fisheries Development Board (NFDB), Hyderabad under the Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana (PMMSY) proposes to organize a three days Training Programme on ‘Fish Value Addition’ during the third/fourth week of January, 2025. The programme will cover all the aspects of development of fish and fishery products/by products by imparting hands-on-training in fish handling, cutting, primary processing, pickling, drying, making of breaded/battered products, fish sausages etc. A total of 25 beneficiaries will be selected for undergoing training and the Department will also hand-hold the trained groups for undertaking commercial activities through PMMSY scheme.
Applications have been invited in prescribed format from the interested Fishers/ SHGs/ Entrepreneurs/Tribal and Unemployed youths of A & N Islands to undergo the training programme.
The interested individuals may contact the nearest Zonal Fisheries Offices/ Fisheries Sub-Stations for applications and the filled in application in the prescribed format should reach the nearest Fisheries Offices on or before 15.01.2025.
