Sri Vijaya Puram, Dec 22: The District Administration, as part of its ongoing efforts to protect government land, has successfully carried out eviction operations against fresh encroachments at various places in Sri Vijaya Puram Tehsil.
In Brookshabad village, unauthorized fencing was removed, resulting in the restoration of 4,000 sq. mtrs of valuable government land. Similarly, in Austinabad village, 400 sq. mtrs of land was reclaimed, and in School Line village, 300 sq. mtrs of encroached land was restored.
At Teyolarabad village, encroachments along the roadside, including vegetable ghumtis and fencing, were cleared, freeing 400 sq. mtrs of government land. Additionally, swift action in Carbyn’s Cove and Dudh Line villages led to the removal of balli fencing, restoring another 400 sq. mtrs of public land.
In total, 7,800 sq. mtrs of government land has been successfully reclaimed and restored to its original condition.
The District Administration remains committed to safeguarding government lands and ensuring their appropriate use for public benefit.
