Sri Vijaya Puram, Nov 22: In alignment with the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to foster greater youth involvement in shaping India’s future, Union Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports Mr. Mansukh Mandaviya announced the launch of the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue at a press conference held in New Delhi.
To ensure widespread participation from the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, a regional press conference was organized at JNRM, Port Blair. The event saw the presence of key officials including Ms. Debasmita Bal, Sports Authority of India (SAI) Incharge of A&NI, Mr. Gopal Biswas, NYKS Incharge of A&NI, Dr. Kandi Muthu, NSS Incharge, and youth icon Ms. Shree Vaishnavi. The initiative aims to inspire the youth of the islands to actively contribute to India’s development through this transformative program.
The Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue is a reimagined version of the National Youth Festival and features a dynamic four-stage competition, the Viksit Bharat Challenge, designed to engage young minds in envisioning and driving India’s progress.
Competition Details:
Round 1: Viksit Bharat Quiz (25th Nov – 5th Dec 2024)
Individuals aged 15-29 will participate in an online quiz hosted on the Mera Yuva Bharat (MY Bharat) platform, assessing their knowledge of India’s achievements and progress.
Round 2: Essay/Blog Writing
Quiz winners will showcase their vision for a developed India through essays on themes such as Tech for Viksit Bharat and Empowering Youth for Viksit Bharat. Submissions will also be made via the MY Bharat platform.
Round 3: Vision Pitch Deck – State-Level Presentations
Participants from Round 2 will present their ideas at the state level, where teams will be formed on various themes to represent their states at the national level.
Round 4: National Championship at Bharat Mandapam
Theme-based teams from across the country will compete at the National Youth Festival on 11th–12th January 2025. Winning teams will have the honor of presenting their ideas to the Prime Minister at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi.
