Port Blair, Jul 21: To mark the International Chess Day on July 20, 2024 and celebrate the centenary anniversary of FIDE, the Andaman & Nicobar Chess Association (ANCA) organized an “International Chess Day #100 Years Simul Event” at Marina Park with an aim to participate in the Guinness World Record Attempt for the most chess games played within 24 hours over-the-board.
Mr. TSG Bhasker, Patron, ANCA took part in the closing ceremony of the Chess Simul Event and motivated the young chess players to take up the chess seriously and bring laurels to our Islands and the country.
Many young chess players participated in the Chess Simul Event with great enthusiasm, making this a historic moment.
