Port Blair, July 31: The President Mr. P. Kannan, officebearers and members of Government Employees Federation A&N Islandsdeeply mourn the demise of the then Lt. Governor of A&NIsland Mr.VakkamPurisothaman on 31/07/2023 at his native place atKerala at the age of 96 years. During his tenure from 1993 to 1996he has done much remarkable development of the Islands, which isstill alive in Islanders heart. He had a very good and harmoniousrelationship with Federation and fulfilled many demands ofGovernment servants put forth by GEF. We have lost a dynamicpersonality forever.
