Port Blair, July 25: Due to forced outage of 5 MW DG sets of M/s. NVVN Aggreko Power Plant, the availability of power has been restricted. All efforts are being made by the Electricity Department to put 5 MW M/s. NVVN Aggreko Power Plant operational at its earliest. To manage the shortfall of power generation through available power till rectification of 5 MW M/s. NVVN Aggreko Power Plant, the department will exercise rotational load shedding of 2 (two) hours in and around Port Blair and South Andaman area. All the consumers of the Electricity Department and general public are requested to conserve and regulate their consumption of electricity. The inconvenience caused is deeply regretted.
