Diglipur, June 04: In the present era when the children prefer to remain glued to cell phones and internet, few children aged between 8 to 15 years recently chose to skip their route of staying indoors and made up of their mind to scale the Saddle Peak, the highest peak in the A & N Islands.
As per report, on 31st May 2023, Adyansh (8 years old), Namit S Nair 9, Aryak Anil 11, Ayush 11, Anup 12, Aditya 12, Nissan 13, Argo 15 scaled the heights of Saddle Peak.
These young chaps started their journey at 0600 hrs and after ascending the summit point, they descended to the base of the peak at 1500 hrs. To guide them to the peak, Mr. A Anil Kumar, Manager ANIIDCO Petrol Pump, Diglipur, Mr. Manoj, a Commando, IRBN & Mr. Ashish accompanied these perky lads and after their successful accomplishment of the feat, brought them back safely. The parents of the children were reportedly very much satisfied with the approach of these youngsters, the team said.
