Port Blair, Feb 14: Nehru Yuva Kendra Port Blair organized a one day career guidance workshopat ANCOL on 14 February 2023. More than 150 youths were participated inthis programme. Dr. S. Jayakumar, Principal, ANCOL was the chief guest onthe occasion. He spoke on the occasion that the program will help theyouth to identify career goals, set education milestones and clear path toachieve it and prepare the youth for holistic career development. Whichhelps them understand the development, Will help you grow and prosper intheir life. In this workshop youth were addressed by various resourcepersons according to the theme of the program,Mr. Jawahar Lal Das,Economic Investigator, Department of Industries, Andaman and NicobarAdministration, Dr. Treemurutulu, Associate Professor ANCOL, Mrs. JayaPrabha Bhattacharya, Lecture ANCOL, Dr. Sunita Patil, Lecturer.On this occasion, the youth also raised many career related questions andall the resource persons got the youth guided. Career trajectory was alsodiscussed on the occasion, how youth can benefit their career.
Earlier, Mr. Gopal Ch. Biswas of Nehru Yuva Kendra welcomed guests andparticipants and explained the objective of the program to inform andorient the youth on the opportunities available in the four career optionsselected for the program also to help clear doubts and confusions about thevarious career options preferred by the youth and to help the youth to plantheir career and make the right career choice based on the job market,their skill qualifications and interests for it.
