Port Blair, Jan 22: Mahatma Gandhi International School, has organized a “Project Day ” on the theme Heritage “Bharat Ek Dharohar ” on 21st January 2023. The Exhibition was inaugurated by Mr. Kavitha Udhay Kumar, Chairperson, and PBMC who was the Chief Guest of the ceremony. She shared her opinions on the thoughtful ideas and presentations given by the students in the exhibition. The Inauguration Ceremony started at 9.15 am which involved lamp lightning, a welcome song, classical dance, and ribbon cutting by the Chief Guest.
The students came up with creative and unique ways to exhibit each topic like Ocean, The Sky and Weather, Landforms, Northern India, NH27, NH44, Ancient Agriculture, Medieval Agriculture and Modern & Advanced Agriculture. The students were all excited to explain and illustrate their Innovative ideas.
There were a large number of parents and visitors who appreciated their work of art and Creativity. They praised and encouraged the students & Teachers for their hard work.
The objective of the exhibition was to bring forth the innate skills and hone the creative genius of the students. The exhibition provided the right platform for the primary wing students to display the varied and beautiful articles prepared by them throughout this academic year. All the items on display were the handiwork of the students which were made from indigenous products. There were corners in the exhibition attributed to art, jewelry, painting, and best out of waste.
The Principal Ms. Ch. Swapna applauded the students for their innovative and creative ideas. She encouraged the students to set higher aims in life and remarked that such exhibitions motivated and instilled the confidence in the young minds to think as artists, designers, and innovators. She also appreciated all the participants for working diligently in preparing for this mega event.
The exhibition “HERITAGE” ended with beautiful memories to be cherished forever.
