Baratang, Oct 31: The ATM installed at SBI at Oralkatcha Branch, Baratang, the lone in the entire Baratang region, has gone out of service once again, causing huge problems to the general public of the region.
According to sources, the ATM hasn’t been working for the consecutive three days.
Worst hit are the government servants who can’t withdraw any money for their daily needs, the ATM users alleged.
Baratang Island is one of top tourist attracting places in A & N Islands and the tourists as well business community are being severely affected due to the sudden snug of the SBI ATM, they rued.
Andaman Sheekha tried to contact the officials of the State Bank of India to know the facts, but no officials were available for a comment.
