Billiground, Sept 29: A two meter long crocodile was captured from Billyground Nallah near Billiground School playground. Earlier a six meter long crocodile was also captured from same place.
It has been repeatedly reported by the villagers, living close to the nallah, that they have seen several crocodiles in the nallah, which has also been confirmed by forest officials.
Following sightings of a large number of crocodiles several staffs of the Forest Department were given duty to maintain a vigil around the nallah.
Because of the sustained efforts of the Forest Team this second crocodile has been captured. Villagers of the region expressed gratitude towards forest officials for rendering day and night visits in the area.
