Diglipur, Sept. 19: The NHIDCL is often found to be in the limelight for its alleged inaction and poor performance in construction works of NH especially in N & M Andaman District. However, it attracted criticism from the general public for its action today- when one of its agencies was found to repair some patches of NH passing through Diglipur Bazaar.
The passersby said, “It is ludicrous to see NHIDCL in action- filling potholes, repairing the road, is it active only because the Chief Secretary visited Diglipur, today?” They exclaimed and lashing out at the concerned agency said that it would have been better if it showed much interest earlier in their works which remained unattended for months together and as a result they have to still face the unspeakable difficulties, they further said.
