Port Blair, Sep 19: In cooperation with Mr. L.Moorthy, BJP, National Executive Member, Dr. P.K Mandal, State General Secretary, BJKM, A&N Islands and Prabhari Mayabunder District, Mr. Tushar Bepari, District General Secretary and Mr. Arabinda Nandi, Harinagar Mondal President distributed Ration items to 12 affected families of Pinaki Nagar village on 19th September 2022. These families suffered heavy loss in yesterday’s heavy rain and flood like situation.
Each affected family was provided with 25 kg rice and Rs. 1000 amounts with other cooking articles.
During the distribution of the articles Mrs. Manjushree Bairagi, State Secretary, Arati Mondal, District Mohila Morcha President, Mrs. Mamta Biswas, Up-Pradhan, GP Harinagar and other party workers along with other villagers were present.
The affected family members expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Mr. L. Moorthy, Dr. P.K.Mandal, Mr. Tushar Bepari and Advocate Arabinda Nandi for extending their support and help in the time of need.
Mr. Ajoy Bairagi, State President, BJP, A&N Islands and Mr. Bishnu Pada Ray, Former Member of Parliament, A&N Islands also expressed their gratitude to the BJP members for extending humanitarian support to the flood-affected families, who unprecedentedly suffered the unexpected flood like situation.
