Port Blair, Mar 24: As a part of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, Nehru Yuva Kendra Rangat in collaboration with voice of compassion-NGO Rangat organized Saheed Diwas at Sitapur Rangat on 23-03-2022. Ms Madhura Ekka, Pradhan of Sabari was the chief Guest on the occasion.
The programme aim at instilling sense of gratitude, pride, honor and duty among the young generation by celebrating the life, works and philosophy of these freedom fighters. Their stories would inspire the youth to create spirit of Patriotism and Nationalism and motivate them further in engaging in National Building activities. In the beginning of the programme Shri Jag Jeevan Ram, Deputy Director, NYK Rangat welcomed the chief guest, other guest & participants.
After that Honoring the memory of the revolutionary martyrs of India’s freedom struggle, the Garlanding of portraits, Lightening the lamp, and Lectures on life of Bhargat Singh, Rajguru & Sukhdev by Shri Devaraj, Chairaman of voice of compassion, and the chief guest at the end of the programme Shri Jag Jeevan Ram Deputy Director, NYK Rangat appeal to all the youth to follow the philosophy of these freedom fighters.
