Port Blair, Mar 21: Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), A&N Islands organized a student “Abhyas Varg 2022” at Chinmaya Mission in Port Blair to enlighten the ABVP workers towards the vision and mission of the ABVP in reclaiming India’s glory.
The Chief Guest Dr. H.K. Sharma, Principal, JNRM inaugurated the students Abhyas Varg. He said that Central University is the need of the hour and it will give more opportunities to the youth of these Islands to discover their innate potentialities.
Swamy Shuddhananda Saraswati, Chinmaya Mission gave his blessings and said India’s golden era of the education system is well known throughout the world. Our educational system not only empowers the people at large but also provides holistic development for the people.
Mr. Shriniwas, National Joint Organizing Secretary, ABVP emphasized the selfless sacrifices made by the Martyrs of our freedom struggle and appealed to the ABVP workers to derive inspiration from their supreme contribution for the true freedom of India.
Dr. Santosh Kumar Jha, President, ABVP, A&N Islands enumerated the activities undertaken by the ABVP for the last two decades in these Islands. He demanded a Central University for the development of these Islands.
Dr. Kandimuthu, Vigah Pramukh, NEC member and Special Invitee, called upon the ABVP workers to work tirelessly towards nation-building to achieve the idea of a new and robust India.
Mr. Ramesh Paramanik, Organizing Secretary, ABVP, A&N Islands encouraged the ABVP workers to carry forward the work initiated by the founding members of ABVP in these Islands.
In the culmination of the function, the ABVP Workers unanimously elected Dr. Santosh Kumar Jha as the President, Ms. Seema Kumari as the Secretary and CA VikasLal Patel as the Treasurer of ABVP, A&N Islands respectively for the session 2022-2023.
Mr. Tejinder Singh was unanimously elected as District President and Mr. Rajesh Rao as District Secretary. The entire event was coordinated by Mr. SiddhanthRai Sharma and Smriti Mishra. A vote of thanks was proposed by Mr. Raj Sekar.
