Port Blair, Mar 21: State Control Room, Directorate of Disaster Management, A&N Administration issued a Thunderstorm warning over the Nicobar Islands received from IMD Kolkata.
It is informed that on 22nd March 2022 squally winds (40-50 kmph)and gusty wind (60 kmph) are very likely to prevail over North Andaman Islands.
Due to the Deep-Depression over North Andaman Sea and adjoining Southeast Bay of Bengal; Gale wind speed (65-75 kmph) gusting to 85 kmph likely to prevail and sea condition likely to be very rough and high, Fishermen are advised not to venture into Andaman sea along and off A&N on22ndMarch 2022. Local Cautionary Signal-III kept hoisted at Port Blair Port.
