In his message, Mr. Halder said that New Year gives us an opportunity to learn from our mistakes and start over again. The ‘Year 2021’ has been quite crucial in terms of COVID-19 pandemic. Let us be hopeful that this difficult phase will pass as soon as possible, and year 2022 will be filled with cheer, optimism, good health and usher in progress and development of our Islands.
Also, on this occasion we all should pledge to support poor people, work for social welfare and to discharge all our duties and responsibilities sincerely for progress of the Islands and the nation as a whole.
“The concept of Unity in Diversity is important in A&N Islands as we have people belonging to different communities, languages and religion. As law-abiding citizens, it is our duty to maintain and promote peace and communal harmony” he added
“I wish each and everyone a happy, healthy and prosperous new year”, the ANTCC President concluded.
