Port Blair, Dec 24: As part of the ongoing nationwide “Jan Jagran Abhiyan” programme organized by the All India Congress Committee, a programme was organized by Andaman & Nicobar Territorial Congress Committee on Thursday at R.K Pur Bazaar, Hut Bay, Little Andaman, to educate people about the “anti-poor” policies being propagated by the BJP led Central Government and its failures on various fronts especially the unprecedented & backbreaking prise rise & inflation, destruction of economy and large scale unemployment.
The programme was organized under the leadership of ANTCC President Shri. Rangalal Halder and DCC President Shri. V.K Abdul Aziz. On this occasion Hutbay Block President Shri. Palaniswamy along with R.K Pur Block President Shri. Atul Biswas, other senior leaders and general public were present. Shri. Halder said “From Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru to Dr. Manmohan Singh, Congress leaders have build this country through various schemes and development works but the present BJP Government is selling the public sector undertakings to their capitalist friends”.
