Port Blair, Nov 23: The Nagarpalika Swachhtha Karmachari Sangh (NSKS), an affiliated association of Andaman Nicobar Rajya Karmachari Mahasangh (ANRKM), has provided Water dispenser with Watercan in the Sanitary Section of Ward No. 18. The employees of Sanitary Sections in all 24 wards have been struggling for want of basic facilities like toilets, drinking water, handwash, soaps, brooms, gloves, mask etc.
With the efforts of all members of NSKS, the drinking water problem has been solved in the sanitary section of Ward no. 18. The noble gesture will continue in other wards for the welfare of Sanitary employees in Port Blair Municipal areas by Nagarpalika Swachhtha Karmachari Sangh, said Mr S Biju Pillai, General Secretary, ANRKM.
