Port Blair, Nov 22: The former Independent Councillor of Ward no. 3 Mr. Ramzan Ali on Saturday took membership of the Indian National Congress during a brief function held at Netaji Stadium in the presence of Mr.Tarik Anwar General Secretary AICC, ANTCC President Mr. Rangalal Halder and ANTCC Campaign Committee Chairman Mr. TSG Bhasker
Mr. Rangalal Halder claimed that the winds are blowing in favour of the Congress and against the BJP in Andaman & Nicobar Islands and hoped that Mr. Ramzan Ali will contribute in strengthening the party further.
On joining Congress, Mr. Ramzan Ali said that he is impressed with the working and policies of Congress and joined the party as it is more focused on the development of these Islands.
