Port Blair, Nov 22: Mr. P.K.Haldar, President of A & N Democratic Party and Ex-Member, Andaman Nicobar Pradesh Council demanded to re-open the Mahatma Gandhi Govt. College in Mayabunder.
In a letter addressed to Admiral (Retd). D K Joshi, Lt. Governor,ANI he informed that all the Institutions of Higher Education of A & N Island Territory like JNRM, Andaman College, Tagore College of Education, Dollygunj Engineering College, Medical College, etc have already started functioning since long, except the Mahatma Gandhi Govt. College, Mayabunder.
“As it is known to all, even all the schools have already opened in the entire A & N Union Territory. Some students met me and raised the very issue. The Students have been suffering, and are frustrated too”, he added.
