Port Blair, Nov 21: Pankh NGO organized a recreational camp for special children of Brookshabad center, dedicated to children’s day at Chinmaya Mission Auditorium recently.
It was learnt that this camp is organized every year for them which usually engaged these children along with their parents with indoor sports, cultural activities, and counseling for the encouragement of the mothers of the children. “Pankh NGO has adopted two special children to take care of all his nutritional needs,” said the President, Mrs. Komal Anand.
Mr. Hari Kallikkat, IAS, Additional District Magistrate, South Andaman was invited as the chief guest and the guest of honor was Mr. Dilkush Meena, IAS, Sub-divisional magistrate, South Andaman. Mr. Shudhananda Swami and Mr. Vishnu Pad Ray, Ex-Member of Parliament also graced the occasion. Mr. Joe Paul in charge, CRC Brookshabad was also present.
Mrs. Priyanka Rajan and Mrs. G. Kokila were the special educators who coordinated the recreational activities of these children. After the program lunch and refreshments were provided.
