On the auspicious occasion of Guru Nanak Jayanti, I extend my heartiest greetings to the people of Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
The birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the first Guru of Sikhism, is celebrated with joy all over the world. The teachings of Guru Nanak Dev ji are still relevant today.
Guru Nanak Dev ji is remembered worldwide for sharing knowledge of communal unity, truth, peace, harmony. He has given the message of love, unity, equality and brotherhood to humans.
Guru Nanak Dev ji described living an “active, creative, and practical life” of “truthfulness, fidelity, self-control and purity” as being higher than the metaphysical truth. On this auspicious occasion, let all of us come together and pray for peace, progress and prosperity in the lives of the people of the Islands.
