On the auspicious occasion of ‘Guru Nanak Birth Anniversary’, I extend my heartiest greetings and warm wishes to all the residents of A & N Islands.
Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the first Guru of Sikhism was a great philosopher, social reformer as well as an inspirer of the spirit of fraternity. Celebrated as ‘Guru Parv’ and ‘Prakash Utsav’, this festival inspires us to imbibe the ideologies of Guru Nanak Ji.
I appeal to the Islanders to strictly follow COVID-19 guidelines and COVID appropriate behaviour and get vaccinated on time.
On this occasion, I wish for happiness, peace, prosperity and religious harmony in the life of Islanders.
