Port Blair, Nov 17: The Member of Parliament of Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Mr. Kuldeep Rai Sharma today wrote a letter to the Chief Secretary and informed him that insulin injections are not available at GB Pant Hospital pharmacy and therefore diabetic patients are forced to buy Insulin injections from private shops, which is not only expensive but also beyond the reach of many Islanders.
Considering the problems being faced by patients, who require daily Insulin injections, the Member of Parliament requested the Chief Secretary to look into this matter and direct the Health Department to provide insulin injections to patients from GB Pant Hospital Pharmacy as early as possible, so that patients who require Insulin injection on daily basis get some relief.
