Port Blair, Sept 17: Together with rest of the country, the National Students Union of India, Andaman & Nicobar unit under the direction of PCC President Mr. Rangalal Halder, guidance of NSUI State President Mr. M.A Sajid and leadership of NSUI State General Secretary Mr. Saurav Nair on Friday sarcastically observed the birthday of PM Mr. Narendra Modi as “National Unemployment Day” to remind the promises of employment made by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi to unemployed youths.
Holding banner in their hands, the activists of NSUI assembled at Indira Gandhi statue, Aberdeen Bazaar and shouted slogans against the union government. Through this programme, NSUI wanted to send a message to the government that youths are suffering due to unemployment under this government.
NSUI State Vice-President Mr. Nishit Biswas, NSUI State General Secretaries Mr. Vishal Din, Mr. Anick Das, Mr. Mukesh & Mr. Robin along with NSUI District President Mr. Kushal Roy and other office bearers of NSUI were present on the occasion.
