Port Blair, Sept 17: A dead body was found from Chatham Saw Mill area yesterday evening.
As per information yesterday evening at around 07:00 PM local people saw a man lying near road side without any body movement. The matter was immediately reported to the Police Control Room.
Soon Police team reached the spot and shifted the man to GB Pant Hospital where the doctor declared him brought dead.
Further an unnatural dead case has been registered in Police Station Chatham. The man was later identified as Mr. Anand, 53 years, a resident of Bambooflat. Further details are awaited.
