Port Blair, Aug 31: Mr. Mandeep Grewal, who is also founder and President of Port Blair Guru Ki Rasoi, Registered NGO of A&N Islands have bagged attention of District Commissioner of Ludhiana for his services provided to the needy during the second wave in his hometown Ludhiana.
Today, Mr. Varinder Kumar Sharma, IAS, DC, Ludhiana handed over letter of Appreciation to Mr. Mandeep Grewal in Presence of Mr. Amarjeet Singh Tikka, Chairman, Punjab Medium Industry Development Board.
Mr. Grewal served many thousands of people with cooked meals and also provided ration kits to many migrant labors stuck near Ludhiana.
“As I was stuck in my hometown during the second wave due to the lockdown, tried serving as many as possible as we were serving in the islands as well” Mr. Grewal added.
