Port Blair, Aug 09: Mr. S Balaji, District General Secretary, BJP along with Mr. R Someshwar Rao Ex-junior Vice Chairman recently called on the Secretary of Port Blair Municipal Council at his office.
It was learnt that Mr. Balaji along with Mr. R Someshwar Rao discussed various issues and raised demands of sanitary workers like providing bleaching powder, raincoats for sanitary workers and sweepers and CRF Roads etc.
The Secretary assured them to do the needful as soon as possible. On the matter of repairing of roads leading to Govt. Middle School, Dignabad from Marine Gate and Mohanpura Market, the Secretary reportedly assured that the works for the road will be started immediately.
