Port Blair, Aug 09: A senior officer of APWD today assured Andaman Sheekha Daily that by tomorrow (Tuesday) morning the Delanipur road will be thrown open for public, after completion the sinkhole and underground drainage repair works.
The senior officer, who does not want his name to be quoted, said that for now blacktopping of the road stretch, under repaired, will not be done because it takes time for loose earth to settle down. “Only after settlement of earth black-topping works can be carried out,” he said.
Although, he did not give any timeline about when the blacktopping works will be completed but opening of the road will bring huge relief for public of Port Blair city.
