Port Blair, Nov 01: Miss V.K. Mariyam Bibi, Member Zilla Parishad, Wimberlygunj expressed gratitude towards Lt. Governor, Lt. General (Retired) Bhopinder Singh and senior officers of the A& N Administration for the sanction of Rs. 2 lakhs from the LG’s Relief Fund to Mr. V. Satyanarayan R/o Tsunami Shelter Pahar, Bambooflat on account of the death of his two sons in about tragedy which occurred in the sea between North Bay and Madhuban on 9thNovember, 2008 and the bodies were found on 13th and 14th November, 2008.
“The old man Shri Satyanarayan have no other earning member in his family and the amount sanctioned will be great relief to the bereaved family to start any business for their livelihood,” Miss Mariyam Bibi added.
