Port Blair, 26 Oct: It’s a long wait for nearly 200 families living in ward number 17 for proper footpath and streetlights.
Recently, Mr C Saravanan, General Secretary and other executive members of Human Right organization visited the area and inspected and found that people are living under miserable condition in the area.
“The condition of Christian Grave yard is horrible and even the school going children of the area are facing huge difficulties in crossing the area due to lack of footpath,” Mr Saravanan added.
Further on 25/102012 the team of Human Right Organization discussed the matter with Mr Rakesh Bali, Secretary (PBMC) in his chamber. Mr. Bali reportedly assured the delegation that he will look into the matter.
