Port Blair, Apr 28: Mr. Kuldeep Rai Sharma, Member of Parliament, A&N Islands based on grievances received from the public has brought to the notice of the Chief Secretary, A&N Administration that X-Ray machine and Blood testing machine at CHC Rangat are not functioning since many months and insulin for diabetic patients also not available there since last one month. Similarly, Technician for operation of X-Ray machine at CHC Diglipur is also not available, due to which patients are facing hardship for getting treatment in the said hospitals. Therefore, the Member of Parliament requested the Chief Secretary to look into these problems to make availability of the same at the earliest.
