Port Blair, Apr 18: Shri Kuldeep Rai Sharma, Member of Parliament, A&N Islands has requested the Secretary (Education), A&N Administration to make arrangements for providing desk and benches for the students at Govt. Sr. Secondary School, Swadesh Nagar and Govt. Secondary School, Pinaki Nagar in Mayabunder Tehsil.
He said that the existing Desks and Benches provided 10 years ago are in dilapidated conditions and most of them damaged and due to non-availability of the same as per requirement of the student strength, the students are facing hardship while in classes.
