Port Blair, Apr 18: An engine dinghy coming from Swaraj Dweep with nearly 100 bags of coconuts, collided with a ferry vessel MV Maina and capsized, yesterday morning.
According to details the wooden engine dinghy, ‘Vijay Sagar’ collided with the ferry near FDN-2, close to Pani Ghat and because of the impact the dinghy capsized. The dinghy operator Mr. Vijay was however rescued by operators of another engine ‘Sneha Sagar’.
