Port Blair, Mar 10: In view of the prevailing COVID situation in the Islands, the Deputy Commissioner of South Andaman has directed all temples committees to ensure strict compliance of COVID-19 protocols during Mahashivaratri celebrations. Further, all the devotees visiting the temples shall ensure wearing of masks and hand hygiene and social distancing, a release from DC office said here today.
