Port Blair, Mr. Kuldeep Rai Sharma, Member of Parliament, A&N Islands has requested the Superintending Engineer, CC-I, APWD for North & Middle Andaman to make proper arrangements for supplying drinking water to the villages of Radhanagar and Shyam Nagar and similar other places in Diglipur Tehsil.
Since these villagers are facing water crisis and no water bodies like wells, ponds, river etc are available in their residential area and because of which, they are fully depend on the pipe line water supplying by the department.
Therefore, he requested the APWD authority to resolve the water crises problems in these villages after getting repair and replacement of existing water pipe lines or by making any alternative arrangements for smooth supply of drinking water to villagers.
