Port Blair, Oct 18: The term of Smt. Ratna Kannan, Chairperson, A&N State Social Welfare Board which was expired on 17.10.2012 has been extended for a further period of three years w.e.f. 18.10.2012 by the Lt. Governor, A&N Islands in consultation with Chairperson, Central Social Welfare Board, New Delhi. Accordingly Smt. Ratna Kannan will continue to hold the charge of Chairperson w.e.f. 18.10.2012.
