Port Blair, Feb 23: The international mother tongue (Language) day was celebrated on the 21st February 2021 at Shri Hari Mandir premises, near water sports complex, Sippighat, South Andaman from 6 PM to 9 PM, organized by the registered cultural organization namely Bangla Sanskriti Parishaad, Shree Shree Hari Guru Chand Sanskritik Sangha and Andaman Sanskriti Parishad Shri Anadi Ranjan Biswas (prominent writer and literature) was the chief guest.
The welcome speech was delivered by Mr. Sudhir Biswas, (General Secretary, SSHGCSS & ASP). Further Mr. K.P.Biswas (Head Master) and Mrs. Meena Mondal recited poems on INMT day.
Beside that the various cultural activities like, recitation of poem, various songs were performed by the local artists among a very crowd audiences.
Mr. Jawaharlal Das also delivered the speech in the said occasion.
Prominent artists like Mr. Raisuddhin Gayan, Mr. Shyamal Das were also present in the said occasion. The whole cultural program was organizing/anchoring by Mr. Sudhir Biswas and the program ended with vote of thanks was given by Mr. Swapan Biswas. The Anna Prasad was distributed to the participants and audiences at the end of the said program.
