Port Blair, Jan 17: Mr. C. Muthuswamy, a social worker and secretary of All India Legal Rights Org (AILRO) along with Mr. K. G. Samkutty, the state president of Swaraj India Party (SIP) and Mr. Anand Raj, General Secretary of Swaraj India Party(SIP) called on Mrs. Anjali Sherawat, the Secretary of PBMC to highlight various sanitary related grievances.
The points highlighted by the delegation were collection of garbage’s on daily basis; Proper segregation of bio waste and non-bio waste material in a separate collection bags; Picking and removing of street dogs, street cows and bulls from the roads; Collection of garbage from the harbor area; Maintenance and cleaning of main drainage system in each areas; cleaning of the main drainage of the Haddo area, ward 01 which is connecting the area of Lilly Pur to the R G Lane Colony and recruitment of sanitary workers to cover all the areas.
