Port Blair, Dec 28: The 16th anniversary of Tsunami was observed yesterday at Campbell Bay. The administration along with tribal leaders, public representatives and people of Great Nicobar Island paid tearful tributes to the people who lost their life during the Tsunami.
The Assistant Commissioner Dr. Mukesh Kumar DANICS, Chairman tribal council Mr. Bernabas, govt officials, public representatives and local public laid floral tributes, lit candles and observed two minutes silence as a mark of respect.
A Special Sarva Dharma Sabha and prayer meeting was also held at Campbell Bay in this regard. In the community hall Campbell Bay by following all Covid-19 protocol.
