Port Blair, Dec 27: The Ex-Councillors and Ex-Chairpersons of Port Blair Municipal Council met the Secretary, PBMC on 22nd of December 2020 under the leadership of Mr. Ajoy Bairagi, State President, Bharatiya Janata Party, Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
The delegation comprised of Mr. N.K Udhaya Kumar, Ex-Chairperson, PBMC, Mr. Eshwar Rao, Ex-Chairperson, PBMC, Smti. Sheela Singh, Ex-Chairperson, PBMC, Mr. Karunanidhi, Ex-Councillor, PBMC, Smti. Vinita Malhotra, Ex-Councillor, PBMC, Smti. Protima Banerjee, Ex-Councillor, PBMC, Smti. Someshwar Rao, Ex-Councillor, PBMC and Mr. Dharmander Narayan, Ex-Councillor PBMC.
The delegation raised the issues affecting the general public with the Secretary, PBMC. Some of the issues raised by the delegation included the issue of Garbage, Issues with Ongoing Construction Works, Issues with Water Supply etc.
Secretary, PBMC gave the delegation a patient hearing and assured to take necessary action for the convenience of the general public.
