Port Blair, Dec 13: As a follow up to business opportunities and co-operation between ACEH province of Indonesia and A&N Islands as per business submit between Prime Minister of India and the President of Indonesia, a meeting between Mr. Ferdy Play, Dy Chief of Mission, Mr. Charles, Second Secretary, Indonesia Embassy and Andaman Chamber of Commerce & Industry headed by Mr. Surendra Prahladka, President attended by all office bearers and representative from Infrastructure, Shipping, Agro, Tourism and retail sector participated. Mr. Ferdy briefed Indonesian interest in investment, connectivity, export of building materials, trade issue. He also requested to share the Indian Technical Standard detail for component like stone Aggregates, sand, cement etc. and detail for felicitating Banking facilities.
It was also proposed to have 2nd Task Force meeting at Port Blair to be attended by high level Govt, delegation of both the countries along with delegation of both sides of Chamber of Commerce.
