Port Blair, Nov 23: Andaman Sangeet Academy (ASA) Junglighat, Port Blair, celebrated the “Dussera & Diwali – 2020 Programme” on 22nd November 2020, Sunday. The programme has been arranged Daya Sagar Hall, near Brichgunj Chowk, Protharapur, Port Blair at 6.00pm. Shri Tapas Kumar Das, President of the Academy was the Chief Guest in this cultural programme. Shri Soumen Home Chowdhury, General Secretary of ASA welcomed the gathering.
Smti. Namita Home Chowdhury, Executive Member and teacher of Andaman Sangeet Academy (ASA) presented solo song. The students of the Academy Miss. Shagun are showing her talents by sung a song, Master Ritikesh and Divinesh are playing song on Keyboard and Master Sachidananda Das and Emanuel Mridha are playing Lahara on table. Master Sounabh Home Chowdhury accompany table with the little artists. Shri S. K. Singh, retired Principal of the Education Deptt., A & N Administration blessed the students by his speech. Chief Guest of the programme Shri Tapas Kumar Das, President of the Academy told the activities of the Academy in details in front the gathering.
The programme was concluded at 8.30pm with the vote of thanks by Smti. Rekha Rani Dhar, the Treasurer of Andaman Sangeet Academy (ASA), Junglighat, Port Blair and the dinner for all.
