Port Blair, Nov 18: The ongoing 67th All India Cooperative Week Celebration was being celebrated on 18th Nov, 2020 at the premises of A & N State Cooperative Union. Shri. Bittu S Nathan, Inspector, RCS Department as the Chief Guest in presence of various Apex and Primary Level Cooperatives.
At the outset, Smti. Nandini, Faculty Member, RGCTC welcomed the Chief Guest and other delegates to the 67th All India Cooperative Week Celebration 2020. He further informed the main theme “Covid Pandemic- Atmanirbhar Bharat –Cooperatives” and addressing the gathering on day’s topic “Skill Development to Re-employ the job/Business Looser/Victims”.
Shri. Bittu S. Nathan, Inspector, RCS Department as the Chief Guest of the programme addressing on the topic “Skill Development to Re-employ the job/Business Looser/Victim”. He informed that the A&N State Cooperative Union has conducted skill oriented programme throughout the year like Computer, Tailoring, and Beautician courses which help for the employment generation.
Shri. Suresh Babu, Principal, RGCTC spoke on the topic “Skill Development to Re-employ the job/Business Looser/Victim”. He informed that the Skill development is the process of identifying your skill gap and it is important because your skills determine your ability to execute your plan. He further informed that the Soft and Hard skills are very important tools for the success.
Shri. N. Srinivasan, General Manager, ANCOFED “Skill Development to Re-employ the job/Business Looser/Victim”. He informed that the creative approach is required for ensuring that members of cooperatives are able to enhance their employability skills and undertake income generating activities in cooperatives.
Smti. Rubi Afsar, Computer Instructor, A&N State Cooperative Union has highlighted the Computer Courses offered by the A&N State Cooperative Union.
Smti. Shameema Begum, Beautician Instructor, A&N State Cooperative Union has highlighted the Beautician Courses offered by the A&N State Cooperative Union.
Smti. Leelawati Bai, Tailoring Instructor, A&N State Cooperative Union has highlighted the Tailoring Course offered by the A&N State Cooperative Union.
The programme ended with the vote of thank proposed by Miss. R. Radha, Faculty Member, RGCTC.
