Port Blair, Nov 09: In order to strengthen the infrastructure facility for COVID-19 management, the District Administration in collaboration with the civil society has donated one Omni Ambulance to Health department. It was flagged off in presence of Commr.-cum- Secretary (Health), Secretary (Health), ADM, DHS and other doctors of the Health department.
Further, the District Administration is more vigilant on ILI/SARI surveillance and regular follow up of ILI suspect and the passengers arriving by flights is being done by the control room set in the District Office for COVID-19. Moreover, medicines are being provided to the ILI patients on regular basis by the District Administration.
