Port Blair, Oct 21: The Festival Issue 2020 of Baakprotima, the only RNI-registered Bengali Little Magazine edited by Anadiranjan Biswas (sitting General Council Member of Sahitya Akademi, New Delhi) and published from Port Blair, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, has been released today on 21st October 2020, by Mr. Amit Kumar Goenka, Chief Patron of Baakprotima in his chamber at Lamba Line, Port Blair.
This special issue contains a bunch of writings contributed by contemporary writers of the mainland and these Islands too (11 essays, 2 satirical articles, 2 translated stories, 15 short stories, 2 travelogues, one book review and 44 poems).
It is noteworthy that during this critical situation(owing to the spread of Coronavirus worldwide too, Baakprotima has maintained the commitment to its readers, advertisers and well-wishers, by releasing its Festival Issue 2020 before the commencement of Durga Puja festivity.
