Panchwati, October 18: A house situated at Panchawati, Ward Number 02,Middile Andaman was completely gutted in a fire yesterday. As per reports, the fire was reported at 11:45 am to which the Rangat fire station responded and sent Fire Tenders to the spot, however, the house being 300 meters away from the road, the firefighters struggled to reach the spot.
It is learned that the fire occurred due to short-circuit inside the stabilizer of a fridge, and it spread in complete house in no time, because the house was constructed of Bamboo and mat and also because of the LPG cylinder blast. The house belonged to Mr. Ganesh Bepari, a farmer by profession, who was out with his son during the time of the incident.
