Port Blair, Oct 18: A team of Police Station Central Crime Station (PS CCS) today arrested three people from Dollygunj and seized more than 6 KG of Ganja from their possession. According to reports the raid was conducted when the duo, from West Bengal, was trying to sell the Ganja consignment to a local guy of School Line area.
Following a tip off the team reached Dollygunj area where the accused Ms. Savita Mistry, from West Bengal and Mr. Kamal Dutta, from West Bengal were about to sell the Ganja Consignment to a local person of School Line, Mr. Rajesh Kumar Baroi, and arrested all three accused persons.
The team of Central Crime Station consisted of ASI Vijay Shankar, PC P K Mandal, PC K Rajendran, PC Raja Rao and PC Mohammed Imran. The team was led by SHO PS CCS Inspector Mahesh Kumar Yadav and the raid was conducted overall supervision of Deputy Superintendent of Police, Mr. Jagdev Singh Yadav.
