Port Blair, Oct 11:Port Blair Municipal Council is organising month long scheduled Swachhata activities for the commemoration of Gandhi Jayanthi & completion of 06 years of Swachh Bharat Mission (Urban).
In order to make a good communication link between PBMC & its citizens to address the Sanitation & Solid Waste Management related issues, PBMC will now onwards accepts the grievances through Swachhata mobile application of Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs MoHUA, GoI. The Swachhata app aims to foster large scale citizen participation. The Swachhata application fuses together a time-tested complaint redressal platform with the opportunity for citizens to work together on civic issues with community centric features for citizens to vote up on complaints, share them with other concerned citizens and comment on the work being done.
In this connection, citizens are requested to download Swachhata mobile application on Android and iOS Platform for uploading cleanliness complaints/ grievances. The complaints will be addressed with Service Level Agreements timeframes & satisfaction of the complainant.
The Citizens can Locate the complaint with ease, get regular complaint status updates, Push notification when resolved, Reopen unresolved complaint, Provide feedback on complaints, Simplicity & Ease Of Reporting
The complaints received through Swacahh Citizen mobile application, will be transferred to concerned Sanitary Inspectors through Swacahh Engineer mobile application, & will resolve the issue within timeframe. The citizen, Sanitary Inspector & Municipal council will observe the status through desktop portal.
The General public is requested to cooperate with the PBMC for making the city spic & span and make a Swachhata step with digital approach.
